Disney Weddings: What Would You Choose?

If you could get married in a Disney location where would you pick? If you are planning a Disney wedding where will it be? If you were married in a Disney location, tell us all about it!

I recently watched Freeform’s special on Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings.  As a former Disney bride, I feel the need to express my opinion on the special.

I loved the couples, the magic and the locations they picked. I have been to all of the locations on the show, so it was easy to relate. If you are considering a Disney wedding, please remember there are different locations than what was featured on the show. I felt this was the biggest downfall of the show because this was Disney’s opportunity to showcase other locations within Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line. Personally, I would’ve loved to see an Aulani wedding.

The special was only 90 minutes, but Disney could’ve capitalized on the market and made it a weekly series. I would watch it because I love weddings. I love to see the creativity couples put into their special day. There’s so much that goes into planning a Disney wedding. There are different packages you can choose from, locations, cake, transportation, music, flowers and more.

My husband and I were married at Sea Breeze Point at Walt Disney World’s Boardwalk Resort. We chose the Escape package because it was less planning and less stressful. Disney will go the extra mile to make your special day magical. If you are planning to have a Disney wedding, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
